Currently, the largest known number of the ½¢ sheet stamp on cover, parcel piece, or tag is: 100.
Description: Registered first-class cover on an envelope mailed on April 24, 1953, from the Post Office Department in Washington, DC to Sayre, Pennsylvania. The envelope contains 100 copies of the ½¢ stamp plus single 30¢ and 2¢ Prexies combining to pay the 65¢ first-class rate for a 5 times weight letter, 15¢ registration fee for an item with an indemnity value up to $50, and 2¢ supplemental surcharge whose indemnity value exceeds that for whoich the fee was paid by $50 or less.

Description: Air mail special delivery cover to Germany containing 32 copies on the front plus a single 5 cent Prexie paying the 6 cent air mail rate and 15 cent special delivery fee.

Description: Airmail cover to Germany containing 30 copies of the ½¢ on the front along with a single 17¢ Prexie. The 32¢ represents a 2¢ convenience overpayment of the air mail rate to Germany.
