19¢ Registered First Class Plus Supplemental Surcharge Solo Use(s)

The Zone 4 fourth-class rate was exactly 19¢ for an item weighing over eight ounces but no more than one pound, from January 1, 1952 through September 30, 1953.  Currently, the number of documented solo uses of the 19¢ sheet stamp paying that  rate is: 1.

Description:  Fourth-class parcel mailed by Ford, from Dearborn, Michigan to Gibsonville, North Carolina in 1953 to mark their fiftieth anniversary. The package contained a commemorative medalion that, with the packaging, weighed just over 8 ounces, thus requiring it to be sent via fourth-class.
