U.S. Scott 807, the 3 cent Prexie/Prexy issue picturing Thomas Jefferson, from the Presidential issue of 1938 on an advertising cover for the Hotel Harrington in Port Huron, Michigan. The advertisement encompasses the entire cover front and includes an ornate corner card plus a picture of the hotel and a frame around the cover front. The cover, which was mailed to Grosse Pointe Farms, has a September 7, 1940 duplex cancel. A sample of the hotel's letterhead was folded up inside the envelope.
